George Aspinall took secret photographs in the Changi area, and of the appalling Thai/Burma railway at great personal risk and processing them on the spot using smuggled chemicals. The ingenuity and resourcefulness of this teenage Australian private soldier have resulted in a unique visual diary of captivity. Book is in good condition with moderate general wear and tear and mild page discolouration throughout. There is a small pen mark on the inside front page. External corners are bumped, otherwise no other pre-loved markings.
